2456 Del Monte Avenue — Hayward Lumber

The Hayward Lumber president explained the company's plans: its 11th location, 107 years in the community, 275 employees, a small lumber yard and store run as a hub with Salinas and Pacific Grove, no deliveries from the site, and all loading brought into the yard.

Presenting for Justin Pauly Architects, she described over 2,600 square feet of new landscaping, sidewalk and ADA upgrades, an undulating wood fence designed with Wildland Workshop, Hayward supergraphics, vine structures, and a darker building color to help it recede from the street.
