Skyline Forest and Highway 68 Intersection Safety

Six-year Skyline Forest Safety Committee advisor said the dangerous intersection has been on the city's agenda for six years, people are being hurt, and the funded study has gone nowhere in a year.

Retired teacher living near the intersection read a list of specific safety fixes: flashing speed lights, merging traffic lights, curve illumination, a longer turn lane, and signal timing changes.

Skyline Forest safety committee member said the community did everything asked — surveys, meetings — and the funded study has 'drifted off into never-never land'; demanded the intersection be agendized now.
