Hayward Lumber opens 11th location at former MNS site
Hayward Lumber is taking over the long-dormant former MNS building supply site at Del Monte, Virgin, and Encina, investing in facade upgrades, ADA access, landscaping, and new lumber storage. It'll be their 11th location, run as a hub with Salinas and Pacific Grove.
Retail Cannabis Business Permits
After two earlier permit holders failed to open, the Council issued the two storefront retail permits to waitlisted applicants. A drawing gave Monterey Organic first pick of zone (Wave Street or North Fremont). The city expects roughly $300,000 in related revenue.
